Warranty Policy

1-Year Limited Warranty

Cubot offers a 12-month limited warranty for smartphones purchased through our official store or authorized distributors. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.

In the case of a replaced or repaired product, the warranty will continue for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions.

If during the warranty period the device is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, Cubot, at its sole discretion, may:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts.
  • Replace the product with the same model or an equivalent model if repair is not possible.

Manufacturing Defects

If the problem is caused by a manufacturing defect (not attributable to the user):

  • The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product to the service center.
  • Cubot will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product back to the customer.

Accidental or User-Caused Damage

Damage caused by improper use is not covered by this limited warranty. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Accidental drops or impacts.
  • Liquid damage (unless the device meets water resistance specifications and has been used within those conditions).
  • Exposure to extremely high or low temperatures.
  • Unauthorized modifications.
  • Incorrect installation or operation.

In these cases, Cubot may offer repair service. Labor may be free of charge where applicable; however, replacement parts and shipping costs may incur charges depending on the extent of the damage.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover?

The warranty does not apply to:

  1. Products purchased through unauthorized sellers or distributors.
  2. Products with the serial number removed, altered, or illegible.
  3. Products whose warranty period has expired.
  4. Damage caused by:
    • Misuse or abuse.
    • Negligence.
    • Accidents.
    • Improper installation.
    • Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized personnel.
    • Normal wear and tear from use.
    • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's functionality.
  5. Damage caused by acts of God, including but not limited to:
    • Floods.
    • Fires.
    • Lightning.
    • Earthquakes.
    • Other natural disasters.
  6. Consumable accessories and packaging materials, including but not limited to:
    • Chargers.
    • USB cables.
    • Screen protectors.
    • Protective cases.
    • Headphones.
    • Packaging.
    • User manuals.
    • Promotional items or gifts.
  7. Products that have been rooted, unlocked, or modified with unauthorized software resulting in hardware or software failures.

Shipping Policy

For warranty repairs:

  • The customer will be responsible for safely shipping the product to the designated Cubot service center.
  • Cubot will cover the cost of return shipping once the repair or replacement is complete.

It is recommended to use a courier service with a tracking number, as Cubot is not responsible for losses incurred during shipment to our service center.

Proof of Purchase

To request warranty service, the customer must present valid proof of purchase, such as:

  • Order number for purchases made on the official Cubot store.
  • Invoice or purchase receipt issued by an authorized Cubot distributor.

Cubot may request additional documentation when necessary to verify the validity of the warranty.

Important Information

This warranty is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of the product.

The warranty does not cover:

  • The loss of personal data.
  • Software problems caused by third-party applications.
  • Commercial losses, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential damages.

It is recommended to back up all personal information before sending the device for service. Cubot will not be responsible for data loss that may occur during the repair process.
